    The TLS-55 Rotor’s major applications is RNA pelleting in 2-3 hours, subcellular fractionation in sucrose gradients, and protein separations in sucrose gradients. Non-precipitating solutions up to 1.7 g/mL in density can be run on this rotor without reduction in rotor speed. The rotor can be used in the Optima MAX high-capacity personal micro-ultracentrifuges, the discontinue TL-100 and Optima micro-ultracentrifuges, Optima MAX-XP Benchtop Ultracentrifuge, and Optima personal micro-ultracentrifuges.
